Requirement on Operators

This unit must be used by a physician who has been sufficiently trained by the facility in clinical plasma surgical techniques, cutting and coagulation of living tissue, and emergency treatment. This manual, therefore, does not explain or discuss these issues. Detailed evaluations of these issues should be made by those who have received such training.

Principle of Operation:

The system is 100 KHz RF field by excitation electrolyte solution (saline) in a plasma is formed around the electrode layer thickness of 100 microns, the thin layer of the plasma of charged particles, which create enough energy (eV) at low temperature (40℃ - 70℃) opens the target tissue cells constituting the molecular bonds, the tissue rapidly decomposed into low molecular weight molecules and atoms, which is formed at a lower temperature effective tissue cutting, ablation, coagulation hemostasis. Due to plasma has a “knife” like cutting effect, clinically in turn called “plasma knife”. The therapy device is a plasma treatment system, designed for cutting human tissue ablation, coagulation to stop blending. It will support tissue formation at lower temperatures and efficiently cutting, ablation, coagulation hemostasis. When you need to stop the bleeding and tighten tissue, according to the doctor’s host requires precise amount of heat generated, to achieve hemostasis and tightening effect, and make sure not to damage the surrounding tissue activity. Cleaning

After each use, clean the unit.

Electric shock Hazard – Always turns off and unplugs the generator before clean.

Do not clean the generator with abrasive cleaning or disinfectant compounds, solvents, or other materials that could scratch the panels or damage the generator.

1. Turn off the generator, and unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
2. Thoroughly wipe all surfaces of the generator and power cord with a mild cleaning solution or disinfectant and a damp cloth. Follow the procedures approved by your institution or use a validated infection control procedure. Do not allow fluids to enter the chassis. Do not sterilize the generator.
